Today we’re doing something special – a test tour of one of my arcade maps using this Dictator Blogger thing. This is a map I made in Hammer Plus Plus that doesn’t really have a proper name. It’s called “Forest Home” because when I started it, I thought I was going to build a house in the forest. Instead, it ended up as a mansion in the clouds, so the name is pretty random as it turns out.
This is a constant work in progress. It’s not finished and never really intended to be finished. It’s designed for me to knock down a wall and build more stuff whenever I get bored, like most of the maps in Anarchy Arcade.
The Cloudy Mansion
The mansion features big windows in most rooms because there’s this nice cloudy skybox. The skybox isn’t AI generated, by the way – that’s from Game Banana, from one of the links to skyboxes that Zafian found for us.

The Music Wall
Here’s my music wall with a nice wavy displacement effect. I just put all my music on here with some nice animated GIFs to create a dynamic display.

Chuck E. Cheese Band Rehearsal Area
This is my Five Nights at Freddy’s style Chuck E. Cheese band rehearsal area. It’s not the performance area because there’s no seating, but it’s got all the instruments and some nice media to watch, including the Five Nights at Freddy’s movies and Willie’s Wonderland – that Nicolas Cage movie where he doesn’t even speak in the whole movie even though he produces it and stars in it.

Movie Theater Hallway
This hallway connects the movie theater and weight room, styled after classic movie theater corridors. We’ve got concession stands, a Disneyland trash can, a Disneyland popcorn machine on the far wall, and a bunch of other games that just found their way here.

The Weight Room
If you want to get your little avatar guy big, you go here and lift all kinds of weights. Notice that real-time rendered mirror and the big windows with custom workout equipment machines that were ported in from Sketchfab.

Movie Theater Room
The movie theater room has lots of big fluffy couches and two cabinets in the back that slide open to hold 20-30 movies each. This room also has its own bathroom, curtains on the sides for sound dampening, and really nice ceiling lighting – making it a fully lit movie room rather than a traditional dark theater.

Themed Bathrooms
This is one of the many bathrooms in the level – the Japanese themed one. You can’t see it in the screenshot, but there’s actually samurai gear mounted on the wall with koi pond fish decorations. Most of these bathrooms were modeled off references I got from Twitter of fancy bathrooms that people were promoting for real estate.

Suspended Stairway
Here’s my suspended, freestanding stairway with a nice rock garden during the switchback and those sleek glass panels.

The Terrarium
Upstairs there’s the terrarium with all kinds of stuff happening. I’ve got a turtle, an owl, a mouse, a snake, a dead body, gold – all kinds of things going on in there.

Secret Armory Entrance
Here’s the secret entrance to the Armory. You follow the blood trail up to this wall where it suddenly stops, but if you press E on the wall, it opens up those doors to reveal the Armory. It’s not just weapons – it also houses the server room, computer equipment, and utility tools.

The Arsenal Room
Another shot of the Arsenal room shows we actually have a rocket – rockets are really hard to get, but we’ve got one. There are also action movie DVDs on the back wall, with two copies of each movie so I can see both the front and back of the DVD cases simultaneously.

Weapon Collections
A close-up of my arsenal wall shows ready-to-use weapons that are used in heists all the time. They range from Payday, GoldenEye, Counter-Strike – you name it, there’s something up there. There’s even a Nintendo Zapper.

Another close-up of the weapons case shows some radioactive stuff, a gravity gun, and that sniper rifle from GoldenEye: Source.

The Utility Wall
Hung on the utility wall is the GMod tool gun. The person who made this model actually passed away, but this model is used all over the place. It’s very popular because it’s the only gun you start off with in GMod.

More Luxury Bathrooms
Here’s another one of those fancy bathrooms with nice cozy rugs, modeled from a reference picture of a real bathroom.

This map represents the kind of creative freedom that Anarchy Arcade enables – a constantly evolving space where I can experiment with different themes and ideas whenever inspiration strikes. Each room tells a different story, from the peaceful terrarium to the secret weapons cache, creating a virtual mansion that’s uniquely mine.
